Step by step guide on how to solicit and get the
UK (London) Visa online
Once in the page which subheading is Welcome to Visa4UK just go a little lower the
page to your left hand side and click Apply for UK visa now>. This will take you
to the next section New Visa Application - Before you apply just read through to
be sure you are ready for the application and make sure you check the acceptance
box to your lower left and click Continue> This will open a pop up window demanding
you to enter your email and password. Enter your email address and choose a password
you can easily remember as you may need it later incase you want to log in again
to complete your application should anything go wrong so you won´t have to start
all over again. If you have done that just click Next . This will take you to the
next page...
Your Visa Requirements if you are residing in Spain you can answer it as follows
or you can alter it to suit your application type. But in this instance we are going
to concentrate visiting visa. Fill the form as follows...
- Current Location: this is country you are applying from e.g. Spain.
- Country of Nationality: your country of Nationality e.g. Nigeria
- Purpose of Application: your travelling purpose e.g. Visit
- Type of Application: this the type and length of travelling you would be making to
the UK. For those applying for the first time and on visit the first option should
do. (General) Single, double and multiple, valid up to 6 months
Then click Next and go to the next page.
Part 1> About You this page require information about you...
- Given name(s) (as shown in your passport): Enter your name here
- Family name (as shown in your passport): enter your surname here
- Other Names (including any names you are known by and/or any other names that you
have been know by): this mean your middle, but if you don´t have any middle name
in your travelling passport or other documents please leave this box blank.
- Sex: indicate if you are a male or female
- What is your marital status?: choose your marital status
- Date of Birth: indicate your date of birth using this format 14 Sep 1983. Or you
can simple choose from the calendar icon beside the box.
- Place of Birth: indicate the name of the town you were born
- Country of birth: indicate the name of your country of birth
- Nationality: indicate your Nationality
- Do you hold, or have you ever held, any other nationalities?: this would probably
be No except you hold a dual Nationality.

Part 1 > Travel Dates and Purpose of Travel
- What is the main purpose of your visit to the UK?: indicate the purpose of your travelling
e.g. Vacation
- How long do you intend to stay in the UK?: for first timers the shorter the better.
E.g. 3 weeks. But if you are submitting an authorization letter from the company
where you works, for example vacation letter and the letter states the period of
your vacation. If this is the case your travelling time should be a little less than
your work vacation period.
- On which date do you intend to travel to the UK?: choose the date you like to travel,
this should be at least minimal of a month from the day of your application
- On which date do you intend to leave the UK?: this is the date you want to return
from the UK. Note this should be guided by how long you intend to stay in UK as you
answered before.

Part 2 > Passport Information
Please enter the details of the passport or travel document that you will use to
travel to the UK.
- Current Passport or travel document number: indicate your international passport
number, which can be found in your international passport. And make sure this is
passport you will be travelling with.
- Place of issue: indicate the place your passport was issued. E.g. Madrid, Benin City
etc.
- Issuing authority: indicate the issuing authority which can be found in your passport
- Date of issue: the date your passport was issued. Check it from your passport
- Date of expiry: the date the passport will expire. Check it from your passport
- Is this your first passport?: if you have not been issued a passport before this
present one, the answer would be Yes, otherwise if you have an old passport maybe
it has expired or no longer valid your answer would be No.

Part 2 > Passport Information > Additional Information: you will only receive this
question if you answer No to the previous question concerning previous passport.
- You answered 'No' to the question 'Is this your first passport?' Where the information
is available, please provide full details of all passports held over the last 10
years, including where they are now: indicate your old passport number, if still
valid or expired, date issued and expired date, place of issue and issuing authority.

Part 3 > Contact Details
Please provide details of your full address and postal code. This must be the address
at which you live rather than your family home.
- Apt/Floor/Suite/Room/Street: indicate your street name, house number, floor and door
number if available.
- City/Town/Village/Suburb/State/Province(where applicable): indicate your city and
state name. E.g. Leganes, Madrid.
- Select the Country in which you live: select the country you are residing at the
moment
- Postal Code/Zip Code: indicate your postal code e.g. 28941
- How long have you lived at this address?: indicate how long you have lived in this
adress
- Home (landline) telephone number: indicate your telephone number (landline) incase
you don´t have a landline you can put your mobile phone number.
- Your mobile/cellular number: indicate your mobile phone number
- Will these be your contact details during the application process?: Yes is the answer
except you want to choose otherwise

This is a simple instruction and guide on how to apply for the UK (London) visa online.
Using applicants from Spain as an example. That doesn’t mean the information generated
from this tutorial apply to applicants soliciting from the Spanish territory alone.
There might be slight difference in the requirements of the visa issuing office in
the country you are soliciting from. But the application basic remain the same.
Nationals of country that is a member of European Economic Area (EEA) does not require
visa to enter the UK. But non EEA nationals who are residents in EEA countries will
need a visa to enter the UK. Certain other categories of travellers to the UK may
need a visa: for example to live as the wife, husband or civil partner of a British
citizen.

must first verify if the country you are applying from is been supported for online
