In the next page which is the Payment Confirmation page. Click on the Continue button for the payment window to display. (note: You can only make payment using verified Visa card). All you then need to do is fill the credit card (visa card) details in the appropriate spaces using the calculator like buttons to your right to fill in the Pan (the card numbers) and the CVV2(CVC2) these are the last 3 digits at the back of the card, the name of the card holder exactly as it appears on the card in the Caredholder name space. Then indicate the expiry date (month and year) as indicated in the card. Then click ok for payment transaction to take place. You will be greeted in short with a Payment successfully made message and you will receive a message in your email inbox confirming your payment success. The next stage is now to go back and print Your payment and confirmation receipt. And now the Application ID and Reference No. you saved at the earlier stage will be required to reload the Payment Detail page.

We will have to go back to the website www.immigration.gov.ng, Click on Apply Online button to display the home page. Then in the Passport section click on Passport Guarantor's Form see diagram blow. Fig.07.

Once in the Passport Guarantor's Form page enter the Application ID and Reference No.  You saved earlier in the appropriate boxes and click submit. Then on the Guarantor´s form page that will then scroll down the page to where the Close, Print and Next buttons are at the bottom. Here you have two pages so click print to print out the first one and click the Next button to display the next page and hit print as well to print the page, after then click the close button to close the guarantor´s page. (note: the guarantor´s form cant be filled online it has to be done manually that's why you only have to print then manually filled by who ever is standing for you as a guarantor.)

Now that we are through printing the Passport Guarantor's Form, we will to now print the Payment Receipt and confirmation. We can easily go through the last page we see after we close the Passport Guarantor's Form page where we printed the forms out, but not to get some of us confused, lets start from the home page again just like we are ordering a new passport. Click on Apply online button and then on the ePassport Application Form see diagram above Fig.07. The on the Apply for New Passport page look a little to your left hand corner on the screen. See diagram below. Fig.08. and click on Passport Application Status. On the Passport Application Status page, like we did on the Passport Guarantor's Form just fill in your  Application ID and Reference No. And click submit, then print out the two pages as we did with the Guarantor´s form.

Your guarantor will fill the printed guarantor´s forms, sign it and thumbprint. (to know more about the guarantor´s form click here ) He will also include one photo passport with his name and surname written at the back of the passport photograph. A photocopy of his or her resident permit and international Passport is required, along with two of your passport photographs with your name and surname written at the back and a photo copy of your old Nigerian passport and a National population birth certificate. (for those born before 1992 in Nigeria). In case you don’t have the birth certificate the Embassy will issue it to you for a fee of 50 euro. And this is only possible if you already have an old Nigerian Passport. And in case you don’t have an old passport, you will be required to provide a Sworn Affidavit in Court from your state of origin back home in Nigeria for your Age Declaration and National Population Birth Certificate which must be legalized and stamped in Abuja. This your people back home can help you provide.

The payment confirmation receipt and the application form are the things you will take along with you to the embassy on your scanning date. There you will be required to pay a scanning fee to undergo your scanning for the New Nigerian Ecowas Passport which is 60 euro. After scanning you will be given a passport collection date, which is probably one week from scanning date.

You will be taken to the Applicant´s Details page. Note there is a print button underneath the page but don’t print this page yet as you have not made payment. Just click on the Proceed to Check out button to continue to payment proper page.

The next page that will be displayed will be the Cart item page. Here you find detail information of your order (what you are paying for) , Just click on Proceed to Online Payment to continue. See diagram below. Fig.06.

Then immediately book an appointment with the Embassy (only for applicants in Spain). You will book this appointment by sending a simple application email  to the Nigerian Embassy in Spain´s email which is info@embassyofnigeriainspain.org. Please indicate your name, application IDand reference No. as it appears on your payment confirmation receipt, on the application letter. Then you have to wait for some days or weeks for a reply from the Embassy by which a scanning date will be issued to you. Click here to view simple application letter.

After you have submitted the form online your Reference No. and Application ID will be displayed. Please make sure you write these numbers down correctly and you will surely need them later to update and print your payment and confirmation receipts.
